In the first section below I’ve listed my DNWs and general likes, and in the second the specific fandom requests. I’ve forgone elaborating on characters and giving prompts, and stuck to just saying a few things about each fandom. If you’re interested in more specifics, I’ve requested some of these fandoms and characters (though as part of relationships, mostly) in previous exchanges – you can check out my Fandom 5k and Chocolate Box letters.
I like both gen and shippy fic and art, so if you want to write either of those, I’d be happy with either. Likewise, if you’d prefer to stick to a strict focus on the specific character, that would be more than welcome as well.
Everything in this letter is, of course, purely optional. It’s mostly intended to show you a general direction of where my taste runs, so feel free to disregard any specifics. Also, how much I have to say about a fandom isn’t indicative of how much I want it – I’d be equally happy to receive a gift for any of my requests, I just had more thoughts for some while writing (andmost some of the time all I have to say about a request is “!!!!! please :DD”)!

I love how fucked up this world is, with their child soldiers and constant death – and the further back you go in time, the worse it is! I love the themes of village vs clan loyalty, the mixing of the personal and the political, the secrets and the murder right along the showy, cool as hell jutsus.

I love everybody in the galaxy far, far away. I love the Mandalorians with their complicated history and codes of honor. I love the Jedi and their pseudo-Buddhist philosophy, and commitment to doing their best in less than ideal circumstances. I love the clones, who got dealt the worst hand in life but clung to their individuality until the last. I love how the tragic ending is foreshadowed to the viewer and when fic plays into that, but I also have a lot of love for fix-its. Do feel free to kill Palpatine off screen or, hell, feed him to the Zillo beast.
On the clones: I like them regardless of whether they’re written as Mandalorian or not, though if yes, I’d ask that you keep the mando’a to more common-in-the-fandom words and avoid the whole sentences, since I can’t read it.
Also as a sort-of exception to my mundane AUs DNW - I don’t really consider things like “Elves through history” or “Maglor in modern times” one of those, and in fact really love both tropes, so please feel free to write them if you so wish! I can never have enough :D
Note on characterization: I prefer Elrond & Elros & Maglor (& Maedhros) to have developed a genuine familial relationship, though if you’re not into the whole Kidnap Fam thing I understand and am okay with pretty much any way to write their relationship except ‘M&M were total monsters to them’. And please, if it comes up, no Elwing bashing.

Dreaming of Sunshine
This is just a delightful universe and I love Shikako. I also love other people reacting to Shikako, whenever she does anything Shikako-like and how unaware she is of her being extraordinary. Time traveling – anyone, not just Shikako – is always delightful, too. If you’d like to write recursive fic (and I think a few of the prompts below would work really well for some of the established DoS AUs), feel free to do it! I welcome any and all, but if you’d like to know which specific DoS fics I’ve liked, they’re all in my ao3 bookmarks. Dragon Age
I love this world, in all its slightly-miserable apocalyptic glory. I also like mages and magic, A Lot! (In that sense, I admit I have a fondness for Mage Hawke, but that’s not at all necessary if you’re not into it. I love rogues and warriors too!) I tend to go for Purple/sarcastic Hawke, though I love any Hawkes just by virtue of being Hawke.And I like all characters so feel free to include/mention others as long as the focus is on the requested!

I’m putting these two together because they are largely the same in my mind, but if you only know one, rest assured that I’m not expecting you to consume the other!I love everybody in the galaxy far, far away. The Silmarillion and other histories of Middle-Earth - J. R. R. Tolkien
Any time period is fine, though I’m partial to the First Age, reincarnation in Valinor whenever (reembodiment; no adults as children/in child bodies please), and during their time in Mandos, for those who died. I love the tragedy of the Noldor. Themes of loyalty and doom are especially delicious. Compliance with canon events (i.e. traumatic death) are absolutely okay. Go all out on the angst if you wish, this is the canon for it. Or you can focus on the happy/less horrible times, too! I’ll love it either way. Chthonic gods, shades of ancient heroes and Olympians! I love all of these weirdos (affectionate).I love what we see of everyone’s relationships with each other, their opinions on this or that person, and how their regard of Zagreus changes throughout the game.
